Tuesday, March 11, 2014 – Narran (No Longer for Sale!) -- Narran

What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn’t have any doubt - it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn’t want to go anywhere else.
– Hal Boyle

We are currently holding onto this domain for a project; therefore, it is off the market. – Narran, a 6-letter domain, is short, brandable, pronounceable, and established (registered in 2006), offering many potential uses as a brandable name.

“Narran” is a calm name, perfect for a business dealing with money and financial matters. Such a company would embrace traditional values and offer an impression of being well-established.

“Narran” is also a geographic term: The Narran River in Australia, and the accompanying Narran Wetlands. In the logo, we incorporated a swoosh-esque symbol, which “flows” in and out of “Narran” like a waterway.

“Narran” is a palindrome, a word that reads the same both forward and backward; short palindromes are highly desirable for new companies because they are easy to remember.

As of March 10, 2014, no trademarks for Narran were found on or, the main “go-to” websites for conducting trademark searches. However, it is always prudent to conduct your own extensive search before committing to any product or company name.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
--Thomas A. Edison

This is a rare opportunity to own both, a three-letter .co (not easy to acquire in this ccTLD), and -- for one price.

Normally, we recommend that start-ups don't build their companies on anything but dotcoms, but already owning the dotcom changes the paradigm significantly. If you wish to build on Tuy.Co, simply redirect to your site (to avoid .com bleed). is registered at DomainMonster and will be transferred to the buyer once the transfer of has been completed.

"TuyCo" and its variations ("Tuy Co" and "Tuy"), do not appear in the data bases. ("Tuy" -- with a diacritical mark -- appears as part of a company trademark for a Vietnamese company, but this should not pose a problem for this name. However, feel free to consult with a trademark attorney.)
